Saturday Spankings: A tender moment with her new master...

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! Today's excerpt is from my WIP and still yet untitled sequel to Surrender. Sorry folks, but this title is eluding me and quite honestly, driving me mad. But here's a scene between Betsy and her new master:

Warmth glimmered in his eyes. Kindness. Her heart contracted and she started shaking again. No one here had spoken to her at length or stared at her that way except for Lanzo. She wrapped her arms around her center and wished he’d allow her to look down, but his hold on her chin remained firm. His eyes remained boring into hers.

“Are you cold?”

“No, master.”

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please visit the authors below for more Saturday Spanking snippets:

  1. Great snippet. I always turn to mush when a dominant man shows a sliver of softness.

  2. I agree with Christina. Sometimes that bit of tenderness is what makes us submit for real.

  3. Yep that softness will get a girl every time. Great snippet.

  4. A woman needs to be treated like a person first -- with compassion -- and a submissive second. I like the way you've done that here.

  5. Mmmm Master... I love the chin hold, and not being able to look away.

  6. Oh, that snippet hit all my hot buttons. A master is at his most effective for me when he administers his dominance in the guise of kindness and with a gentle hand. Hurry up and finished this one, Sue! *Whine! Must. Read. Soon.

  7. Titles are difficult. I know.... Lovely piece but 8 sentences isn't enough today. Looking forward to more.

  10. The eyes, the eyes are indeed the windows to the soul. Even if he doesn't say a word, a woman can tell how a man feels about her by the look in his eyes. This scene captured that silent language perfectly.
