The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and love is in the air. Ah, springtime. It's about time you showed up! One of the things I am most looking forward to this spring (aside from the warmer temps!) is the release of Commander's Slave on April 19th. It's a sci fi erotic romance and it is the sequel to Surrender. Here's a snippet of my two lovebirds, Edek and Betsy, getting know one another better:

“Are you cold?”

“No, master.”

“Then you’re frightened, and needlessly. I gave you my word no harm will come to you. You needn’t fear for your life.”

“Truly?” she asked.

Edek’s expression softened further. “Truly, Betsy.”

A weight of worries lifted from her shoulders. Betsy hadn’t felt so light since before the war, even though she was a slave now.

Her face crumpled and she sniffled. No one had called her by her name in months—not since the trial—and only Layla had spoken it without hatred. Edek, though he had many reasons to hate her kind, wasn’t looking at her with hatred, nor was he speaking her name with hatred. She’d expected him to treat her with contempt. If anything, he seemed in awe of her. Up and down his eyes went, inspecting her from head to toe, and pleasure flickered in his expression as he touched her hair.

“Thank you, master. I confess you are not what I expected.”

A smile tugged at his lips. “Is that a compliment?”

Her heart beat faster. “Yes, master.”

Commander's Slave (unofficial) blurb:

Sentenced to a lifetime of slavery on the Kall homeworld for crimes she did not commit, First Daughter Betsy Carson expects the rest of her days to be a constant struggle for survival. She’s stunned when a kind old Kall purchases her from the auction block, and even more stunned to learn she’s a gift for his younger brother – a fierce Kall warrior who loathes humans with his every breath. Her hopes to be left alone by her new master are dashed when he orders her to sleep in his bed, and she soon discovers disobedience will earn her a firm, bare bottom spanking from the strong warrior. Not only that, but her resolve to resist his advances crumbles as time passes and she finds herself trembling for his touch.

Commander Edek enjoys taming the spirited Betsy, and he finds owning a petite human slave has its benefits. Her silken red hair, sparkling blue eyes, and soft curves entice him like no other female before. Her sweet presence calms the storm raging in his heart, healing the wounds caused by the war against Earth, and the passion they share gives him hope for the future. But his new world is shattered when he arrives home to find her missing one day, and Edek’s skills as a Kall warrior are put to the ultimate test.

  40. Of course, Spring is the Season of Romance. What can be a better setting than a place in countryside (among daisies and daffodils) for a date? It will surely make one fall in love with his/her lover all over again in the midst of nature.
