Book Spotlight: Rocky Mountain Bride by Lee Savino #spanking #romance

Please welcome Lee Savino! She's here today with a yummy excerpt from her new release, Rocky Mountain Bride.

Blurb:

A mail order bride running from her past. A stern homesteader who takes her in hand. Love grows from strict discipline in the Wild West.

When Carrie steps off the stagecoach into Colorado Territory, she realizes the truth: she’s come to the middle of nowhere to marry a man she’s never met. Miles Donovan is strong, solemn and strict—the husband she needs to start her life anew. Amid the dangerous wilderness, he promises to take the lead and train her to be a good wife to him. But when her past catches up to her, Carrie is ready to run again. It’s up to Miles to help her face her fears, and teach her how to love.

Set in the 1860s Wild West, the Rocky Mountain Bride Series follows the lives of mail order brides and the strong frontier men who take them in hand.

Excerpt:

“As a man, I take the lead. My wife will follow.”

So here they were already, having this conversation about rules. Carrie knew it was coming but didn’t realize it would be so soon. Her husband-to-be was a careful taskmaster. “Yes, I believe that should be the way of it.”

He let her go but didn’t move away. “So, if I ask something, you will obey. And if I needed to teach you a lesson, I could take you in hand.”

She heard the question behind the statements. “Yes, Mr. Donovan. And I would submit to correction, if it was fair.” With a deep breath, she added, “I want a strong man for a husband. I’d need one, to survive a place like this.”

Author bio:

Lee spent most of her childhood in a world of her own imagination. After graduating with a degree in creative writing and winning the Hollins fiction prize for her Viking-werewolves-of- 9th century-Norway novel (Raven & Wolf), she got a 'real job'. Upon turning thirty, she self-published five titles and is happily back to living an imaginary world. She's super excited about partnering with Blushing Books to publish her erotic Westerns, and hopes you are enjoying the fictional town of Royal, Colorado as much as she is.
